The reason all the people were out at the Augusta National Monday was to watch all the golfers. Signing in and heading out to practice are traditions too.
The majority of the golfers arrived at the course Monday, signing in then teeing it up for a practice round.
That does of course include a number of amateurs and first time players. They were just trying to get a feel for how the course is playing.
Among them was Augusta's own Vaughn Taylor, who teed it up with Chris Dimarco and David Toms, two long time PGA pros.
One player who can relate to what Taylor is going through is Augusta native and 1987 Masters champ Larry Mize. His best advice?
Just enjoy the moment.
Taylor has been out here all spring and has played plenty of practice rounds.
That should go a long way in Taylor getting a feel for the course.
