Thursday, July 17, 2008. The Augusta Groove have found a home gym. Augusta State and the team agreed to an arrangement that will have the Groove play all their home games at Christenberry Fieldhouse.

"We're excited about them being here and we're ecited about the brand of basketball that they are going to bring," said ASU Athletic Director Clint Bryant.

Having the Groove play games at ASU also was a chance for the university to get some added revenue. Also, all of the Groove's games will not conflict with any ASU contests.

The Groove will begin play in January.
