They started the season without hype.

They have spent the season under the radar.

And now the Greenbrier girls are two games away from finishing the season with a state title.

The Lady Wolfpack are coming on strong at the right time.

We visited practice Tuesday night as they got prepared for Wednesday night's state semi-final game against Marist.

Greenbrier went the entire season unranked in the Georgia 4A polls but are proving they should have been noticed.

They entered the state tourney as a 2 seed and rolled over their playoff opponents by an average of 9 points.

Not much was expected of this team and you get the impression that's the way they like it.

Coach Garrett Black told his players they have nothing to lose in Wednesday’s semifinal against Marist.

The 7:00 game will be broadcast Wednesday on WRDW 1630-AM starting with pre-game at 6:30.
