(Augusta, Ga,)--After a nationwide search and a host of interviews, augusta state has tabbed their next head coach to lead the women's basketball team.

Today the program introduced Tes Sobomehin to lead the Lady Jags. Sobomehin comes to Augusta from Kalamazoo College in Michigan and hopes to continue the winning tradition of the program. Sobomehin replaces Greg Wilson who stepped aside after nine years at the helm, which included a trip to the Elite Eight. Even in her remarks today, she talked about upping the ante and winning a national title.

"I'm sure every coach thinks they're destined to win a national championship" said new coach Tes Sobomehin. "I believe I have the tools and this school has the resources, tools and support to make that happen so I believe every program should strive for it and I think it's a realistic expectation at A.S.U."

The cupboard is far from bare for Sobomehin as the Lady Jags return three starters off a 20 win team. And they were just two wins away from a trip to the Elite Eight themselves
