Owings Mills, MD--

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Steve McNair retired Thursday.

He spent 13 seasons in the National Football League with the Houston Oilers-Tennessee Titans and the Ravens.

He's 35 years old.

Injuries limited him to six gams last season.

McNair led Tennessee to the Super Bowl in 1999, where the Titans lost to the St. Louis Rams.

He played college football at Alcorn State University in Mississippi.
