Columbia, SC--
South Carolina's high school football championships will have a new home, starting in December.
The High School League's executive committee has voted to move four title games from Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia to Clemson.
The agreement is for one year.
Some championship games have been played in Columbia since 1997.
However, the state legislature passed a resolution in 2006 to play title games at other sites.
This means the Class 2A, 3A and 4A Division I and II games are moving to Clemson. The Class A title games will stay at Oliver C. Dawson Stadium at South Carolina State in Orangeburg.
