The rain delayed PGA Championship wasn't decided until Phil Mickelson dropped in a birdie putt on the last shot of the tournament. He beat Steve Elkington and Thomas Bjorn by one stroke after setting up that winning two-foot putt with a chip out of deep rough. Mickelson had a birdie putt lip out on 17, and Bjorn had the same happen to him on 18. Mickelson, in the first Monday finish at the PGA Championship in 19 years, closed with a final-round 72 to finish at four under par and win his second career major title. He won the Masters last year. Elkington shot a 71 and Bjorn a 72 in their fourth rounds, and they tie for second at three under.
