AUGUSTA, Ga---Golf isn't the only sport in Augusta that will reach a national audience during Masters week. For the third staright year ESPN is coming to the Garden City to televise a Ray Whitfield fight. The Augusta area native will match up with Manuel Vargas on Wednesday, April 9th at the Bell Auditorium. Whitfield outs his perfect 20-0 record on the line against a seasoned fighter in what is called an eliminator bout. The winner of the fight will be next in line for a shot at the Flyweight world title.
The card will consist of six total fights and will air live on ESPN2 beginning at 9pm.
