AIKEN, S.C.--USC Aiken (13-3) pushed across four runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to complete an 11-10 come-from-behind win over Barton College (10-9) on Friday evening at Roberto Hernandez Stadium. The 14th-ranked Pacers trailed 7-1 heading into the bottom of the sixth before rallying.

The Bulldogs jumped on Pacer ace Scott Wandless in the first, lacing five hits for four runs. Wandless settled down after a rocky first frame to go 5.0 innings, allowing six runs, four earned, on 10 hits and two walks, fanning four in the no decision.

Down 6-0 in the home half of the fourth, Chad Jacobsen belted a one-out, solo shot over the wall in left to get the Pacers on the board. The senior first baseman led off the sixth with another long ball, this one down the right field line. One day after having his 17-game hitting streak snapped, Jacobsen bounced back for a 2-for-3 night with four runs scored and his seventh and eighth homers of the season.

Ken Raborn followed Jacobsen with back-to-back jacks while David Vitko scored on a passed ball as USC Aiken chipped away at the Barton advantage 7-4.

Gary Owens delivered a clutch, two-out, two-RBI single through the left side of the infield in the seventh to tie the game at 7-7. Owens finished 2-for-5 with three RBI. Raborn added a 3-for-4 game with three RBI and three runs scored.
