Commons first 4-time player of the week

AIKEN, SC---Chris Commons becomes the first PBC player ever to win four Player of the Week honors in the same season after averaging 29 points and 6.5 rebounds in two games for the front-running Pacers.

He began with 29 points, including 11 of 13 from the free throw line, in a win over Francis Marion, then had 29 more, hitting 10 of 14 field goals, in a win over North Georgia. The junior shot 60% (18-30) from the field and 71% from the free throw line in the two games as well. He also hit five of eight three-pointers. Currently ranked second in the PBC in scoring with 22.5 ppg and seventh in rebounding. He is also fourth in field goal percentage and eighth in blocks.
