COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier calls this year's recruiting class solid.
The Gamecocks had a much flashier class last year. This year's recruits were ranked Number 22 in the nation by Rivals.com and in the low 30s by Scout.com.
But Spurrier says this year's class should fit in nicely with the players he already has.
There was some bright news for South Carolina today.
D.L. Moore, the only receiver listed in Spurrier's class, had backed off his pledge to the Gamecocks and considered attending Colorado. But Moore sent his letter of intent to South Carolina.
