Bulldogs hope to move over .500 in SEC

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- Georgia will try to move over .500 in the Southeastern Conference when it faces struggling South Carolina tonight. South Carolina hasn't been able to deliver coach Dave Odom a win since he announced he will retire almost two weeks ago.

Georgia is 11-6 overall and 2-2 in the SEC. The Gamecocks are 9-10 and 1-4.

The Bulldogs have swept their season series with South Carolina two years in a row. They last met in Columbia almost a year ago, on February 10th, when Georgia rolled past the Gamecocks 73-54. Levi Stukes, who was a senior guard, became Georgia's all-time leader in 3-pointers in that game, which snapped a three-game losing streak for the Bulldogs.
