Augusta, Ga--We're pretty much half way through the college basketball season and Augusta State remains one of the elite teams in the nation. The next six days could go a long way in seeing if they stay there.

Three home dates against Peach Belt Cconference foes inlcuding next monday when USC Aiken comes to town. Over the last four or five games, the Jags have struggled shooting the ball from the field which is something the team just needs to shoot their way out of.

"It's practice, just keep shooting, we can't make every shot but you just keep practicing." said guard Steve Smith

"We're shooting the ball horrendous to be honest with you." said coach Dip Metress. "Last week, our last four games, we have not shot it well and we've won three out of the four games. So hopefully we'll find our shooting and keep defending well and just keep doing what we're suppose to do."

The Jags, ranked 18th in the latest poll, entertain lander tomorrow night before North Georgia comes in Saturday with the now 7th ranked Pacers on Monday.
