LOUSIVILLE, Ga---They might be the most dominating team left playing and this week Thomas Jjefferson Academy has a chance to do something very few schools can claim...win a third straight state title.
The Jaguars are undefeated heading into the championship game against Flint River and doing so in impressive fashion. Check this out, Thomas Jefferson is averaging a mind blowing 50 points a game. Despite the play station type stats the offense has put up, the team takes nothing for granted.
Josh Godbee said, "It's been nice to get here. A lot of team effort, a lot of work in the weight room over the summer. Nothing pays off more then in the weight room working in the summer. But we have a good team, we have a lot of guys who work hard and it's a family of brothers is what it is."
Chip Johnson said, "I think we're more prepared then ever. I mean out here everyday pushing that sled and getting everything we can do to get out here."
Thomas Jefferson beat Flint River for the region title three weeks ago 27-21. Unlike the last two years, the Jags get to host the title game Friday night in Louisville.
