Eagles crack top 25
A long dark year outside of the rankings is finally over. The mess left by former coach Brian Van Gorder and his 3 and 8 campaign last season is quickly being cleaned up by Chris Hatcher and this year's Eagle squad.
Southern debuted in the top 25 today at number 21 in the FCS coaches poll with a 4 and 1 record following a 41 to 38 victory over South Dakota State.
It marks the first ranking for GSU since October 2nd of last year.
