COLUMBIA CTY, Ga.---Gas for $1.79?
It seems like a price from the past, but lots of folks filled up for this price tonight at the Circle K and Sprint gas station at Belair Road in Columbia County.
There were so many cars trying to fill up, cops had to direct traffic.
Lines were long, but people waited. Jerry Pribula told News 12 he waited for 13 minutes to fill up his tank.
"I love it," he said. "It's good for us consumers. And I think gas is outrageously priced anywhere else, and this is a little more reasonable."
If you missed it...it's over. Prices were back to normal by 10 o'clock tonight.
