University holds heart health awareness luncheon

AUGUSTA---People were decked out in their very best red at the Augusta Marriott today. The University Health Care Foundation held their Heartfelt Luncheon today. Everyone wore red and talked about the importance of living a healthy lifestyle.
"We have control over our body," said guest speaker Dr. Jana Klauer. "There's so much that we can do for ourselves, and it's important that we do it."
Dr. Klauer emphasized that foods aren't always as good for us as their packaging says. She's authored a new book on staying healthy.
