News 12 remembers and honors the lives of the individuals whose lives were lost on Sept. 11, 2001.

Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the victims on this tragic anniversary.

    Will honor Harlem policemen and firefighters
  • Remembrance Ceremony
    Columbia County Amphitheater
    7 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 11
  • Patriot Day Prayer Vigil
    First Baptist Church Augusta
    6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • Barnwell Fire Department
    8:30 a.m.
    Six flags will be put on the circle to remember the flights and the buildings attacked.
  • Memorial Service in Saluda
    Courthouse Lawn
    8:47 a.m.
  • 9/11 Ceremony
    Augusta Common
    9:30 a.m.
    A bell will toll at the exact times the World Trade Center Towers fell. Will feature speakers and recognize lives lost in attacks.
  • Fort Gordon Ceremony
    9:30 a.m.
    Firefighters, military police and personnel will make up a colorguard team
  • 9/11 Memorial Concert
    First Baptist Church Augusta
    6:30 p.m.
Monday, Sept. 12
  • Augusta State Memorial Ceremony
    D. Douglas Barnard Ampitheater
    11 a.m.
    ASU Political Science Professor Randall Miller will speak at the event.
