AUGUSTA, Ga. -- The Richmond County Board of Education has tweaked graduation dates for May after a scheduling conflict.
The Lady Antebellum concert at the James Brown Arena is scheduled for what was supposed to be the second day of graduation on May 22.
The school system had reserved the dates for graduation but did not sign a contract.
The school board's Student Services Committee voted to reschedule graduations for Sunday, May 20, and Monday, May 21 during its Tuesday meeting.
They're also looking at the possibility of holding some graduations at the Bell Auditorium instead of changing the dates.
The measure is on the agenda to receive final approval by the full board at its meeting next Tuesday.
