AUGUSTA, Ga.---Two schools in our area are getting $10,000 Goody's Grants.

Wheeless Road Elementary in Augusta will use the money for new playground equipment. The check will be presented May 8.

Swainsboro Primary School in Emanuel County is also getting a grant. It will use the money to promote character education. That presentation is set for May 1.

The Goody's stores and actress Ashley Judd sponsor the grants in a nationwide competition among schools.
