17 Georgia schools in our area are being recognized for excellence by Governor Nathan Deal's office.

ATLANTA -- Multiple Georgia schools in our area are being recognized for excellence by Gov. Nathan Deal's office.
The 17 schools are being recognized for improvement and achievement during the 2010-2011 school year.
Columbia County:
- Blue Ridge Elementary
- Stevens Creek Elementary
- River Ridge Elementary
- Greenbrier Elementary
- Riverside Elementary
- North Columbia Elementary
- Bel Air Elementary
- Greenbrier High
- Lakeside High
- Evans High
- Stallings Island Middle
- Greenbrier Middle
- Riverside Middle
Hancock County:
- Hancock Central High School
Richmond County:
- Walker Traditional Elementary School
- Johnson Magnet
- Davidson Magnet School
