Predators, identity thieves, and bullies are all real dangers kids can find on the internet. If you're a parent, you need to learn the language.

For example: do you know what PAL stands for?

Tonight the Georgia Emergency Management Agency provided a free internet safety class at Curtis Baptist School to help teach children how to stay safe on the internet, either at school or at home.

For more information on school safety or GEMA's school safety unit, call GEMA toll free in Georgia at 1-800-TRY-GEMA, or visit their website, linked below.

By the way, PAL stands for "parents are listening".
