Harlem Middle student arrested for bringing gun to school Save Email Print

HARLEM, Ga.---Columbia County deputies are investigating a case after a Harlem Middle School student was arrested for having a gun at school around lunchtime.

The seventh-grader was taken to the Youth Detention Center.

He was searched after a tip from someone at the school, and officials found an unloaded gun on him.

In addition to any criminal charges, the boy is not allowed back in school until be goes before a district hearing officer. He could be expelled.
