AUGUSTA, Ga.---The Richmond County School District Tribunal has ordered the expulsion of a Cross Creek High School student for the rest of this school year. He is a 16-year-old freshman.

That follows a school fight in December where the principal, Lynn Warr, was caught in the middle. She suffered serious injuries in the incident and was not able to attend the tribunal because of the injuries.

The other student accused of being involved in the incident was represented by his mother, who asked for a separate hearing. That request was granted.

The Tribunal found that there was no actual intent to harm the principal, but she was injured due to the students' action and behavior.
