What may have started as a school prank might have ended with some very serious consequences. It could also get a young teen kicked out of school.

Deputies say a 13-year-old put carpet cleaner into Kool-Aid and gave the mixture to three of his friends at Tubman Middle School. None of the students were seriously injured.

The 13-year-old won't face any charges, but deputies did turn him over to juvenile authorities after the incident happened.

Richmond County Superintendent Doctor Dana Bedden says the school suspended the student, and he could be expelled.

Sounds like this kid is getting a good start on a lifelong relationship with law enforcement and the justice system. His parents must be so proud.
