LINCOLN CTY., Ga. -- A candidate has thrown his name in the hat for the top law enforcement job in Lincoln County.
Mike Arrington has announced he will run for Lincoln County sheriff.
Arrington has been a certified officer for 34 years and has had 10 years of experience as an administrative officer.
He was a first patrol lieutenant for the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office from 2003 to 2008.
