ATLANTA -- Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp is supporting two recent proposals that would make it easier for soldiers overseas and other Americans living abroad to vote.
Kemp is supporting one bill that would give Americans overseas more time to request absentee ballots. He is supporting another that would let them cast their ballots electronically.
The Republican says the measures are designed to "make sure everyone who wants to vote can."
Some 200,000 Georgians are living abroad. The two proposals are still pending in the Georgia Legislature.
