AUGUSTA, Ga. -- A lawsuit was filed Thursday against the owner of Terror Town, the owner's parents and two managers for possible state and federal wage and hour law violations.

News 12 first told you about the more than 60 Terror Town workers who were going unpaid about six weeks ago.

An On Your Side investigation uncovered documents showing where the workers were told they would be compensated for completed work at the haunted house.

News 12 also obtained an interview with former Terror Town manager Justin Hockman a few weeks ago.

"My intention was, and as the other managers was, everybody was going to be paid," he told our reporter.

The employees said they had the understanding they would be compensated for their work.

Attorney Jack Long says none of his clients have received a dime for their work at the haunted house.

"Most of these folks worked anywhere from 40 to well over a 100 hours week after week after week expecting some sort of compensation," Long said.

Long is suing Terror Town owner Jimmy Collier, manager Robert Ramolla and manager Tyler Toepher. He is also suing Collier's parents who he says worked the door at Terror Town.

The lawsuit seeks the amount paid to the workers, liquidated damages, punitive damages and attorney fees.

Collier did not return News 12's calls.

The defendants have a month to answer the lawsuit.
