Whether it's $600, $1200 or more, those government rebate checks are already coming into many of your bank accounts. But many more of you may be wondering where your money is.
The Economic Stimulus Package, which is more commonly known as the free money from the government, has generated the most calls ever for the IRS. People have all kinds of questions, here are some new answers.
Everyone who is getting theirs through direct deposit should have their money by Friday, May 16.
If it's coming in a paper check, it will come between May 16 and July 11 and when you get it all depends on the last two digits of your social security number.
Here's a guide:
Direct Deposit Payments For Returns Processed by April 15
If the last two digits of your Social Security number are: Payments will be transmitted no later than:
00 - 20 May 2
21 - 75 May 9
76 - 99 May 16
Paper Checks For Returns Processed by April 15
If the last two digits of your Social Security number are: Payments will be mailed no later than:
00 - 09 May 16
10 - 18 May 23
19 - 25 May 30
26 - 38 June 6
39 - 51 June 13
52 - 63 June 20
64 - 75 June 27
76 - 87 July 4
88 - 99 July 11
If you got one of those refund anticipation loans, you will be getting a paper check.
And if you didn't get your income tax refund via direct deposit, you cannot get this through direct deposit. And if you owe the government money, it probably will be taken out of your payment.

This one comes from the FBI. The scheme going around features phony e-mails supposedly from the IRS to try to steal your personal information.
Remember, the IRS doesn't send you e-mails. Don't fall for this one. In fact, be cautious with any unsolicited e-mails of any kind.
