AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Environmental Code Enforcement officers have yet to follow up on mold found in the Oakwood Village Apartments.
Code Enforcement confirmed they have initially investigated three complaints about mold in the complex. They are supposed to inspect the apartments after 30 days to make sure management cleaned up the problem. The deadline has passed and they have not been back out.
Crystal Lovett says she complained about mold in her apartment but management did nothing. She says she is moving because of the problem.

"They told me they would fix the problem but as of today they haven't fixed the problem," she said.
Three weeks ago, News 12 found mold behind Lovett's bathroom mirror. Tuesday, the mold was still there.
Code Enforcement ordered one resident to vacate her property immediately because of the problem.
"The apartments have been vacated and we are going to go by and make sure that they're making the repairs. The units will not allowed to be reoccupied until the repairs are made," Shawn Rhodes said.
The new manager at Oakwood Village Apartments told News 12 that she was not aware of the problem in Lovett's apartment.
She would not go on camera.
If you find mold in your apartment, then you should immediately contact your landlord. If your landlord fails to clean up the mold, then contact your local code enforcement.
