AIKEN, S.C. -- The first day of classes were held at USC Aiken Thursday.

After much preparation from buying their textbooks to moving into their dorms, the students were finally ready for the first day.

The day seemed like any other day in college. Students walked with their friends to class, read over course materials and grabbed a quick snack.

For some students, the first day was a return to a familiar campus and faculty. The incoming freshman and transfer students had their first college experience at USCA.

Both current and new students are looking forward to a successful year and have already set goals for their future.

With the help of the university's orientation sessions and the helpful faculty and staff on campus, the students at USCA will be able to succeed at achieving their goals.
