Church, cosmetology school team up to host Back-to-School Makeover event
The Souls Harvest Church of God in Jackson along with the Kenneth Shuler Scool of Cosmetology North Augusta Branch teamed up and provided the community with free haircuts, manicures and school supplies during its Back-to-School Makeover event Saturday.
The church also provided Redcliffe Elementary, Jackson Middle and Silver Bluff High Teachers and Faculty a breakfast on Friday.
The church wanted to thank GSK, Target, Derst Foods, True Value of Aiken, Napier Funeral Home and Kenneth Shuler for assisting with the outreach events.
