PARIS (AP) — A lawyer for the French author who claims former IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn tried to rape her during a book interview in 2003 says he has filed a criminal complaint with the Paris prosecutor's office.
Lawyer David Koubbi told The Associated Press that he'd filed the complaint by Tristane Banon on Tuesday evening.
Strauss-Kahn has labeled Banon's account "imaginary" and has threatened to file a criminal complaint of slander against her.
