Peach Orchard Road at Willis Foreman Road is closed until 4 p.m. Tuesday. Crews will be doing site recreation and investigation following an accident on Monday that killed a 7-year-old.

One lane of Old Petersburg Road near Clark Pointe is closed while crews work to repair a water main. The lane closure is expected to be in effect until Tuesday afternoon.

The single-vehicle crash happened around 5:40 a.m. Burke County deputies say Golden was traveling on Highway 25 south near the bypass when he lost control. The pickup flipped, ejecting him.

Richmond County Deputies say two people are being charged with driving under the influence after an accident at the intersection of Washington Road and Center West Parkway around 2:45 a.m.
