TALIAFERRO COUNTY, Ga. -- A woman suffered severe injuries after an accident on I-20 Monday morning.
Kristin King, of Conyers, Ga., told troopers that she fell asleep at the wheel while driving eastbound and her car went off the road, hitting a tree.
The accident happened just before 8 a.m. at mile marker 144.
King was airlifted to the hospital and is said to have two broken legs. She is expected to recover.
We are told the 23-year-old just graduated from USC Aiken.
