Victim's condition upgraded to fair condition in wrong-way accident

Friday, Jan. 4, 2013

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- The condition of a woman involved in a car accident on River Watch Parkway has been upgraded to fair condition.

Monique Sullivan allegedly drove the wrong way for almost 3 miles on River Watch Parkway, hitting three other cars on Dec. 10.

Amelia Hiltz, who was in the first car hit, was in critical condition for weeks but has recently been upgraded to fair condition.

The drivers of the two other cars that were hit were previously treated and released. Sullivan and the passengers in her car -- her husband and a 4-year-old boy -- have also been treated and released.

Sullivan has charges pending against her.

Deputies say they are not sure when the accident investigation will be complete.
