AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- Traffic is now clear on Bobby Jones Expressway, but earlier on Wednesday evening, it was a much different story.
Four separate accidents involving eight cars brought the westbound lanes at Gordon Highway to a standstill around 5 p.m. -- right in the middle of rush hour.
At least five people were taken to area hospitals for minor injuries.
Three three citations were issued on Wednesday for the accidents.
