UPDATE: 3-vehicle accident on Belvedere-Clearwater Road

AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. -- Crews from Aiken County and South Carolina Highway Patrol respodned to a three vehicle accident with reported injuries on the 900 block of Belvedere-Clearwater Road.
This is near the intersection of Duncan Road / State Highway 67.
This section of road is being worked on with the southbound lane being closed. Crews are directing traffic through the area.
A white truck was traveling northbound when the driver says the floormat got stuck under his accelerator and he struck a black truck head-on. A red Jeep behind the black truck was also damaged.
The driver of the black truck was transported to a local hospital.
SCHP is still investigating the accident.
