COLUMBIA CTY., Ga. -- A temporary road closure will prevent any thru traffic from using Park West Drive between Jimmie Dyess Parkway and Wrightsboro Road.

The closure will begin at 9 a.m. on Tuesday and will remain closed to thru traffic until 4 p.m. on Feb. 21.

The time frame is subject to change pending the completion of work on Old Wheeler Road. The Park West Drive closure will not take place until Old Wheeler Road has been re-opened.

During the closure, residents of Valley Brook Subdivision and residents on Old Wheeler Court will need to use Old Wheeler Road, from Wrightsboro Road, as their means of access.

The closure is to allow for the continuation of the replacement/repair of storm water infrastructure along Old Wheeler Road where it crosses Park West Drive
