UPDATE: Teen identified in fatal Edgefield Co. crash

EDGEFIELD COUNTY, S.C. -- A teenager died in a crash in Edgefield County Wednesday morning.

The Edgefield County coroner says 15-year-old Deshon Surry was a passenger in a car driven by his brother on Bland Baptist Church Road.

According to the coroner, the car went off the road and went out of control after the driver over-corrected.

The teen was pronounced dead at the scene.
