AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW) -- All lanes of I-20 eastbound are back open after a tanker truck overturned near mile marker 35 Wednesday morning.

The accident happened just before 6 a.m. Officials say the driver ran off the interstate, hit a guardrail and flipped over.

The eastbound lanes between mile markers 33 and 39 were shut down temporarily as crews cleaned up the wreck.

Troopers say the driver of the truck was sent to the hospital with minor injuries.
