AUGUSTA, Ga. -- The sister of a 5-year-old boy who was killed in an accident on Peach Orchard Road is said to be in good condition.
Tyrah Doleman, 13, was trying to cross the road with her brother, Kyron Doleman, around 7:40 p.m. on Monday when they were hit by an SUV.
Her brother later died from his injuries.
Officials say the accident was unavoidable, and the driver will not be charged.
