Single-lane closures to take place on Bobby Jones until Friday

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- If you're driving on I-520 this week, you may see some delays as single-lane closures are scheduled to take place until Friday.
This includes both the westbound and eastbound sides of Interstate 520.
Department of Transportation crews will be replacing slab while they widen and reconstruct almost 5 miles of the roadway between Deans Bridge Road and Gordon Highway.
The project, which costs $29.8 million, will also include the construction of two bridges on I-520. The entire project is expected to be finished by May 31, 2014.
