AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW) -- An SUV and a tractor-trailer were involved in a rollover accident on eastbound Interstate 20 Wednesday morning.

The accident happened around around 6:15 a.m. near mile marker 29.

Officials say 30-year-old Christopher Creech of Cottageville, S.C., was driving an SUV and was passing the tractor-trailer when his tire blew out. That's when the South Carolina Highway Patrol says Creech veered in front of the tractor-trailer, which clipped his SUV. Creech ran off the road and overturned.

Creech has been cited with driving too fast for conditions.

Creech and the driver of the tractor-trailer, 39-year-old Christopher Osby of Jackson, Ga., were not injured in the accident.

Officials say both men were wearing seat belts.
