AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Multiple road and lane closures are scheduled for Augusta this week.
The portion of 8th Street between Hopkins and D'antignac streets will be closed until 5 p.m. Monday while crews install a sewer tap. Drivers can use 7th Street or James Brown Boulevard as a detour.
The right westbound lane of Laney Walker Boulevard at East Boundary Road will be closed on Wednesday from 8 a.m. to noon while crews replace a guardrail.
The eastbound lanes of Broad Street between Greene and 15th streets will be closed on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. while bore samples are taken from the road and bridge. Drivers can use Riverwatch Parkway or Calhoun Expressway instead.
