Crews get power back on in Columbia County

GROVETOWN, Ga. (WRDW) -- Crews got the power back on between William Few Parkway and Gordon Highway in Columbia County after an outage on Tuesday, Columbia County dispatch said.

A crew was working on power lines when a transformer went out, Grovetown City Hall confirmed. Crews had most of the power back on by 4 p.m.

The Georgia Power outage map showed 2,000 people were affected at the peak of the outage.
