Portion of Walton Way closed after road caves in

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- A Richmond County road is closed after it caved in.

The eastbound right lane of the 2000 block of Walton Way near the Russell Street intersection is closed.

Drivers can use Central Avenue or Calhoun Expressway as a detour.

The road is expected to be repaired by Sept. 13.
