BURNETTOWN, S.C. -- Crews worked to clean up an accident between a pickup truck and a S.C. DOT vehicle on Friday afternoon.
The purple pickup was driving straight while the S.C. Department of Transportation truck was turning left near Connector Road and Sudlow Lake Road when they collided. The pickup truck driver said he honked his horn but could not avoid the accident.
Both drivers are said to be OK, but the driver of the truck was taken to the hospital, as it's protocol for state employees.
