AUGUSTA, Ga. -- A pedestrian was struck and killed on Washington Road near Interstate 20 on Sunday.
Dispatch confirmed the pedestrian was hit around 1:30 a.m. near Crazy Turk's pizza.
The Richmond County deputy coroner said Michael Egan Goetz was struck as he crossed the street.
Goetz was pronounced dead at 1:50 a.m. due to blunt force trauma.
