UPDATE: 13-year-old pedestrian struck on Peach Orchard Road, send to hospital

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- A 13-year-old pedestrian was taken to the hospital after being hit by a car on Peach Orchard Road Tuesday night.

Deputies say the teen darted in the street and was hit by a car.

The driver is not at fault.

The teen was sent to the GHSU Medical Center and is still in critical condition with a head injury, as of Wednesday morning.
